I like the way that the shoe is shredded showing you all aspects and design elements of the shoe. Like the insole which normally is hidden from view due to the construction of the shoe. The green lining draws your eye from the sole upwards through the image. The shadow looks like the shoe has been lit from above and has a real effect. The spiderweb shadow lines have a manga feel about them, with the shoe ripping apart this manga theme runs throughout the illustration. The paper texture background works well because it is quite subtle and gives a real photo element to the image. I like the stained crumpled paper as a texture and may think about using a similar one.
